I have a dream. I want to be a writer.
No need to become as popular as writers like Stephen King, Agatha Christie or J.K. Rowling, but I wouldn't be against it if it ever happened, I'd actually love to be known worldwide.
My parents told me that when I was able to grab a pencil, I scribbled the same type of nonsense other small kids scribble and I babbled like all other small kids did. I wanted to tell stories, that's what my parents told me. Heck, I don't remember I was, what, 2- 3 years old? It's gone from my memories. Maybe it's true, maybe it was just an impression.
One of my mom's friends is an author, not that well known, but still; she's an author. She read the first chapter of what I had written and found it fantastic. She even emailed her editor and now, I have contact with her editor too. I guess that since I'm a kid, I don't need to pay, I'm not really sure. He gives me advice and answers my questions, reads samples of stories that I send him.
I already tried to get a publisher, but I made a mistake and got a call from a "self-publisher" which (I won't explain the set, but the "self-publisher'' does your job, the one you don't want to do) costs , at the lowest price 900$ I think, and I remember seeing 4000$ in the sets too. It was for the Indigo editions but that is way too expensive.
I AM GOING TO FINISH writing my story/book, then FIND a publisher and GET that book PUBLISHED.
I have a dream, and one day, I won't anymore.
Know why?
Because I will HAVE MADE IT COME TRUE.
It won't be a dream anymore, it'll be REALITY.
